Doug Otto wants to ensure that Long Beach City College continues to help fill the need for well-trained nurses, paramedics, firefighters, and police in our community, as well as serve as a springboard for a four-year college, like it was for him.

Our community colleges educate 75% of California's college students, provide affordable classes, employ more than 70,000 and pump about $3 billion into the state economy each year.

As a member of the Community College Board, Doug Otto will provide the leadership we need to face the educational and social challenges that lay ahead for Long Beach City College in a manner that serves the students of Long Beach, Signal Hill and Avalon.
